Chairwoman
Nadine started boxing twelve years ago and has boxed in several matches. At VBSK, she trains with great enthusiasm and dedication. She brings that same energy to her role within the club. Since the beginning of 2025, Nadine has been our chairwoman. She looks forward to continuing to shape this role within a club with such a rich history.

Secretary
Our only former kickboxer is one of the longest-serving members and has the been secretary of VBSK Albert Cuyp for roughly a decade. Rene is also the tallest boxer in our ranks, standing well over 2 meters with an intimidating reach. He is highly experienced in the media sector and works long days. In his busy schedule, Thursday evening is always reserved for training and unwinding afterwards in De Baron.
Treasurer
Marcus was 39 when he started full-contact karate. His highest achievement was a brown belt. Since 2010, Marcus has been boxing at VBSK Albert Cuyp. He came into contact with the club through former treasurer Peter Rookhuijzen. At that time, the club was in crisis and badly needed a strong chair. And who can say no to a boxing club with a 75-year history. After 15 years as chair, he passed the baton to Nadine in 2025.
Communications
Nushin started boxing two years ago and took her first steps in the sport at VBSK Albert Cuyp. Since then, she can be found in the boxing gym almost every day. What began as training out of a passion for the sport quickly grew into a strong involvement within the club. She now trains with the competition team and is actively pursuing competition boxing. Within the board, Nushin is responsible for the club’s communication and website. In this way, she enjoys giving something back to a club where she now truly feels at home.
